So here they are. My 15 pics I chose for the gallery.
They are at
Brick Oven Studios in Dubuque, IA.
The gallery and studio is brand new, just starting out. In an old brick warehouse, very cool, I'll share the pics from the roof when I finally upload them... ugh.
The opening or rather, party, is on July 19th from 5pm to 11pm if anyone is in the area and can tap a keg. .... only in the Midwest. There'll be wine too, but I have no idea.......barbeque too.
Jordan DeGree, the guy running the show, is a really nice guy.
His kind of art isn't my kind of art, but you all know that.. if you looked at it. My art is his kind of art, so I'm down with that. Flattered really and feeling undeserved.
So I am really excited. Though fairly skeptical that I'll sell one piece.
They're 16x20's matted, framed... the whole shebang. $265... yeah, I know.
Expensive... but you didn't have to trim the mats down to fit the damn frames!
Didn't think it through, as far as what order to buy things in - never done it before.
Though 'twas Christmas morning getting these prints... I think there was laughter and jumping involved...... just like Christmas when you're a kid.
The magnolia prints turned out gorgeous!!!!!
I really like this pic.. ate creme brulee at the cafe I was sitting at a moment ago.
I I just like this one... think it's proper for the Mississippi lovers in our area too.
Alrighty, thought I'd share my gallery selections with you. -Cassie
I really like the one with the trees and the chair, something about it.
I also really like the courtyard shot in black and white.
The chair shot is a favorite of mine :-)
The creepy courtyard is stronger and more ominous in black and white.
Thanks again!!!!!!!
